Electrolux cooking codes are the most model-dependent of all: ECFG/ECFD ranges show Err + a number, current wall ovens show four-digit F codes (F030), earlier ICON and Wave-Touch ovens show two-digit F codes. The same fault — a cooling-fan problem, for example — can carry three different numbers.

Electrolux single, double and microwave-combination wall ovens (ECWS / ECWD / ECWM)
ECWS (single), ECWD (double) and ECWM (microwave combination) wall ovens; four-digit F codes.
- These ovens use a hidden bake element under the oven floor; covering the floor with foil, a drip tray or a liner blocks heat and is a known cause of problems, and the installation base must be solid wood or a material rated for the heat.
- For a dead ECWM microwave-combination oven, the first step is removing power for 10 seconds to see whether the control resets, then checking the control board revision and incoming power.
- A tech tip explains how to exit demo (showroom) mode on the ECWM touch control.
- Cooling-fan faults are F47/F48 on this generation but F45/F46 on the earlier EI30EW ovens and F43/F44 on EW30EW55 ovens — the same problem, different numbers.

Electrolux single and double wall ovens EI30EW38 / EI30EW48
EI30EW wall ovens with a touch control and two-digit F codes.
- For F45 the manufacturer checks the cooling-fan wiring and speed-sensor harness, then whether the fan spins freely (loose blade, ducting, insulation or a damaged top cover rubbing the shaft) before replacing the fan.

Electrolux freestanding gas and dual-fuel ranges (ECFG / ECFD)
ECFG (all-gas) and ECFD (dual-fuel) freestanding ranges with knob controls and a display that shows Err plus a number.
- On these ranges an error shows as Err and a number on the display while the buzzer sounds intermittently.
- On ECFG gas ranges the convection fan intentionally waits — it starts only after a 6-minute delay or once the set temperature is reached — to let gas combustion establish. A fan that does not start immediately is normal.
- Orange or yellow burner flames can be caused by humidity, room humidifiers and airborne particles, not only by a burner fault; the manufacturer lists these as causes to check.
- A tech tip addresses a cooling fan that runs constantly on 36-inch ECFG/ECFD ranges; diagnosis is at the main power board.
| Code | Meaning | Display |
|---|---|---|
| Err 1 | The oven does not read the oven temperature probe correctly (damaged or not connected) | Shown on display |
| Err 2 | Excessive temperature detected by the oven probe; probable probe fault | Shown on display |

Other Electrolux models
For these families we have not published a code table because the documentation we hold is not specific enough to state meanings reliably. Codes on these models depend on the model and control platform — call us with the code and model number.
- Electrolux gas cooktops (ECCG)
Reading a code safely
- Write down the code exactly, including letters (E5B vs E58).
- Note whether it appeared during a cycle or only after a reset.
- Power-cycle once (unplug or switch the breaker off for a minute). If the same code returns, the condition is still present.
- Do not repeatedly reset an appliance that shows heating, gas or electrical codes.
Online troubleshooting is preliminary guidance, not a diagnosis. Electrolux appliances use different control platforms, sensors and diagnostic logic depending on the model, and several failures can produce the same symptom — internal testing is often needed to identify the actual failed component.
