Electrolux also builds induction cooktops and ranges. We service them, but detailed manufacturer diagnostic data for the newest induction models is limited, so induction diagnosis is model-specific and starts with the code on the control.
Orange flames — what Electrolux says
- Orange or yellow flames on Electrolux gas cooktops can be caused by humidity, humidifiers in the same room and airborne particles; the manufacturer lists these before any burner fault.
Practical takeaway: a few orange flecks are normal; a mostly yellow, lazy or sooting flame is not, and needs a technician — never adjust gas components yourself.

Constant clicking
If a burner keeps sparking after it lights, or all burners click when only one knob is on, the usual causes are moisture in a spark switch after cleaning or a boil-over, a shorted switch, or a failing spark module. Let the cooktop dry for a few hours first; if clicking continues, the switch or module needs replacement.

Parts prices change with supplier availability, market conditions, shipping and import costs. You receive the final repair price for approval after diagnosis and before any repair work begins. The $75 service call is applied toward an approved repair. Labor is covered by our 90-day labor warranty, and qualifying parts carry the applicable 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Frequently asked questions
Can I clean the burner ports myself?
Yes, with the cooktop off and cool. Use a straight pin or the method in your owner's guide, not a wooden toothpick that can break off inside a port. Reseat caps so they sit flat.
My induction zone shows that no pan is detected.
Check that a magnet sticks firmly to the bottom of the pan and that the pan base covers the zone marking. If it still won't detect proper cookware, the zone needs diagnosis.
Do you replace cracked glass tops?
Yes, when the glass is still available for the model. Availability varies, so we confirm the part before quoting.
