Choose the appliance, enter the code exactly as shown, and add the model number if you have it. Electrolux codes are not universal — the same characters can mean different things on a dryer and a refrigerator, or even on two oven generations.

Why the model number matters
An Electrolux code is identified by three things together: the code, the appliance and the control platform. Across our knowledge base, 216 code strings appear on more than one platform. Usually the meaning is the same family-wide (E21 on Electrolux front-load washers), but sometimes it is not: a cooling-fan fault is F47 on current wall ovens, F45 on earlier EI30EW ovens and F43 on EW30EW55 ovens; EF1 on a dryer and SY EF on a refrigerator share letters and nothing else. When the meaning depends on the model, the finder tells you so instead of guessing.
