Electrolux wall oven repair in Las Vegas

Single, double and microwave-combination Electrolux wall ovens — ECWS, ECWD, ECWM and earlier EI30EW and EW30EW models — including hidden bake elements, cooling fans and motorized door locks.

Short answer: Electrolux wall ovens report faults with F codes, but the numbering changed between generations. Current ECWS/ECWD/ECWM ovens use four-digit codes (F030, F090); earlier EI30EW ovens use two digits (F30, F90) and EW30EW55 ovens use another set. Typical repairs are the oven temperature probe, the hidden bake element, the cooling fan, the motorized door lock and the relay board — and wall ovens usually have to be pulled from the cabinet for element and lock work.

Why the same fault has three code numbers

  • Cooling-fan faults are F47/F48 on this generation but F45/F46 on the earlier EI30EW ovens and F43/F44 on EW30EW55 ovens — the same problem, different numbers.

That is exactly why we ask for the model number when you call with a code. "F45" is a cooling-fan fault on an EI30EW oven; on an ECWD oven the cooling-fan codes are F47 and F48. Reading a code without the model invites the wrong part.

Hidden bake and installation

  • These ovens use a hidden bake element under the oven floor; covering the floor with foil, a drip tray or a liner blocks heat and is a known cause of problems, and the installation base must be solid wood or a material rated for the heat.

Common problems

Cooling fan codes

Wall ovens rely on a cooling fan to protect the electronics above the oven cavity. For the cooling-fan-speed code, Electrolux's tech tip CKTT2211 lists the checks in order: fan and speed-sensor harness connections, whether the fan spins freely (loose blade, ducting, insulation, debris), and a damaged top cover rubbing the fan shaft — before the fan itself is replaced.

Access and labor

Most wall oven element, door lock and fan repairs require sliding the oven forward out of the cabinet, which takes two people and care for the cabinetry. That is part of why wall oven repair ranges run higher than freestanding ranges.

Estimated repair ranges represent typical repairs under normal service conditions. Your final cost depends on the exact model, the parts required, supplier pricing and availability, what diagnosis finds, and the labor involved. Additional labor may be needed when the appliance has to be pulled out, uninstalled and reinstalled, or when cabinetry, trim, panels or other components must be removed to reach the failed part. Parts prices change with supplier availability, market conditions, shipping and import costs. You receive the final repair price for approval after diagnosis and before any repair work begins. The $75 service call is applied toward an approved repair. Labor is covered by our 90-day labor warranty, and qualifying parts carry the applicable 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Frequently asked questions

When I book, which appliance should I choose for a wall oven?

Choose "Range" in the booking form and mention "wall oven" in the description — it routes to the same cooking technician.

My oven door is still locked after self-clean.

That is normal until the oven cools. If it stays locked long after it is cool, or shows F90/F090/F95/F096/F097, the motorized door lock needs service. Don't force the door.

My double oven shows a code on only one cavity. Is it one repair?

Often yes — each cavity has its own sensor, elements and cooling-fan monitoring. Some double and combination ovens share one control board, which we account for in the quote.
